Grenache from Barossa, South Australia
In Pete's words "Have a quick look & just hook it! All of the Spinifex wines are just fun! Beautifully crafted and loaded with personality. They can be playful and ready to just enjoy without getting too cerebral like this spicy Rosé. Equally, they can be serious when they need to be. No matter which they always have a great core of fruit as their backbone.
Grenache from Macedon, Victoria
This Grenache from Heathcote received a few hours skin contact while being gently pressed, fermented without the addition of yeast to dryness in old French barrels and spent five months maturing on yeast lees. It is a delicately coloured rosé, fresh and fragrant of roses, red currant and cranberry with a fresh, smooth, dry, textured palate. It balances the line of having enough mouthfeel and flavour without having too much. It's proven to be a pleasurable wine to make as the harvest date/ripene
Rosé Blend from McLaren Vale, South Australia
"Pale spicy, dusty and gently earthy, fennel and pink grapefruit, redcurrant, fruit a little down low, texture up. Very zesty, a lot of pink grapefruit and bloody orange, tangy, quite bony, fine dusty texture and grip. though a gentle creaminess to it, and savoury too, lots of sappy and citrus flavours on a long finish. It seems to be built for ageing, though you can serve it now too, cool but not cold! Drink: 2024-2034"Gary Walsh TWF 94 Points

And ... then there's the texture ... again I say SENSUAL. The diversity of food they can handle extends to

Aromas of tonka beans, spices, vanilla, grapefruit, red berries, iodine and spring flowers preface the 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose Cuvee Speciale des Vignettes from Clos Cibonne, a rosé from Provence crafted with a dominant proportion of Tibouren. Medium to full-bodied, round and sappy, it’s well structured with a phenolic, gastronomic bitterness, a fleshy core of fruit and a long, penetrating, iodine-tinged finish.Yohan Castaing, The Wine Advocate 93 Points
Rosé Blend from Côtes de Provence, France
Crafted predominantly from the rare Tibouren grape, with a small proportion of Grenache, the 2024 release continues the estate’s signature style: structured, textural rosé elevated well beyond typical seasonal drinking. The wine is partially aged in old oak foudres under flor, lending a savory complexity, subtle saline character, and notable aging potential. This wine is made from the most historic part of the Clos Cibonne property. 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache - this is how rosé w
