Very good. Complete, long & fine. A deceptive mid-weight with a much finer more complete finish than its predecessors in the lineup. Underlying savoury layer with delicious slightly green white stone fruit. A little soft green herb.  Excellent texture, mineral, pure & fine. Patience will be rewarded in spades. The first mention of the Altenburg in Wachenheim dates back to the High Middle Age, and this is definitely not the last one. The coolest site of the domaine that holds 1.22
