Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills, Santa Barbara

Domaine Racine Santa Rita Hills ‘Sanford & Benedict’ Pinot Noir 2019

A combination of three parcels throughout the famous Sanford & Benedict vineyard. Two of the plantings are 10-12 years old, but certainly responsible for the dark, deep core of this wine. The third piece, a small fermentation of the original, own-rooted plantings from 1971, brings the elegance and floral lift.Antonio Galloni, Vinous 94 Points

Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills, Santa Barbara

Domaine Racine Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2019

The 2019 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills is an attractive, ethereal wine. Sweet dried cherry, mint, tobacco and sage are some of the aromas and flavors that open in the glass. I would give this a few years in bottle to soften. This is an especially savory style of Pinot with plenty of aromatic presence, and the fruit pushed into the background. The Sta. Rita Hills cuvée is a blend of fruit from Domaine de la Côte and La Encantada.Antonio Galloni, Vinous 90 Points

Pax Wines Sonoma Hillsides Syrah 2021

This is very, very good. Incredible length and depth. Core of vibrant, fresh fruit. Excellent texture with stalk spice and an edge of grip in a good way. Has parallels with Villard's Côte-Rôtie. Insane perfume, such elegance and finesse. Simply delicious.“The 2021 Syrah Sonoma Hillsides is towering and statuesque in bearing from the very first taste. I don’t think I have ever tasted a Sonoma Hillsides with this much finesse, this much purity. A wine of vertical energy, the Sonoma H

Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills, Santa Barbara

Domaine Racine Santa Rita Hills ‘Sainte Rose’ Pinot Noir 2019

The 2019 Pinot Noir Saint Rose a new wine in this lineup. The 2019 is a blend of the best barrels from Domaine de la Côte and La Encantada vineyards. Ripe red cherry, blood orange, spice, menthol and a good deal of savoriness from the 50% whole clusters are front and center. Pliant and creamy, the 2019 is so expressive todav. A few years in bottle should help the tannins soften.Antonio Galloni, Vinous 94 PointsOn first pour the nose shows complexity with a pleasant layer of developm

The 2019 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard is a heady, dazzling wine. The 100% whole clusters lend striking aromatic top notes that soar out of the glass. Sweet red cherry, sage, rose petal, blood orange and lavender give this beguiling, layered Pinot tons of complexity. Savory, wild and constantly changing in the glass, the Rinconada has so much to offer. This brilliant, captivating Pinot from Racines has so much to offer.Antonio Galloni, Vinous 96 Points
