Just enough for an intimate dinner! Every year a put away a box of Perbacco Magnums! They make for a wicked party wine! We’ve got to remember the pedigree of this wine. The fruit comes from parcels in Bricco Boschis, Liste, Brunella, Crocetta, Pernanno, Fossati, Ravera in Novello and Scarrone. All stunning vineyards. That’s what makes it such a good benchmark for the Barolo’s from the same year. Over the last couple of years a splash of Barbaresco is blended into the Perbacco too!
Two of the best value Neb's on the market have to be Vietti's Castiglione Barolo and this wine Vietti's Perbacco! The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco is another terrific entry-level wine from Vietti. In this vintage, the Perbacco is especially fine. Sweet dried cherry, herbs, mint, crushed flowers, anise and orange peel grace this striking, alluring Nebbiolo. There's tons of depth and sheer pedigree, things that have not always been present in recent editions. For years, Perbacco was a very seriou

The 2019 Barbaresco Masseria Roncaglie is the best Barbaresco I have ever tasted from Vietti. Bright, full of energy, the 2019 is stunning from the very first taste, and it was poured after all the Barolos in the range. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, cinnamon, mint and orange peel all grace this exquisite, mind-blowing Barbaresco. The 2019 is pure and total finesse. I am not sure how much longer that will last. The 2019 is outrageously beautiful. Don't miss it! Antoni Galloni, Vinous
🍇RABAJÀ RABAJÀ RABAJÀ 🇮🇹 The 2016 Rabajà Riserva has that spark taking it from good to great. Engaging from the outset, take your time, enjoy this over hours even days in its youth. Cortese have always marched to their own tune, making grape first wines that have a finesse and sophistication about them. Balancing freshness and energy with development. They often appear a little out of sorts when young, particularly at the entry level. Those with patience are rewarded as they shap

Vietti Barolo ‘Brunate’ McKENZIE 5L 2019

Nebbiolo | Piedmont, Barolo

The Vietti 2019 Barolo Brunate shows an earthy, almost autumnal quality that you don't get in the other wines presented by this leading estate. The bouquet opens to dark fruit, peat moss and rusty nail. The wine is long and fine-textured with silky sensations that add softness to the mouthfeel. Hints of baking chocolate or espresso bean appear on the close. Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate 97 Points The 2019 Barolo Brunate is a powerhouse. Black cherry, plum, spice, lavender, mocha, gr
