Bürklin's 2021 Pechstein G.C. shows a deep, pure, intense and saline, very complex and elegant bouquet of concentrated tropical fruit aromas intertwined with flinty, iodine and citrus aromas. Vibrant, energetic and well-developed at the same time. The 2021 Il Poggione Brunello presents with a fresher, fine style consistent with the vintage in Montalcino. Savoury & a little bloody, earthy & layered, with complexity from an array of subtle herbs and spices. Expressive.
