The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Bacia is deep and complex, mixing black cherries with cedar box, autumnal spice, mentholated herbs and a dusting of cocoa. Well colour me Nebbiolo! This is one of THOSE wines! Complete, poised, flowing, filled with personality, an acid-tannin complex that gives vitality & is perfectly weighted against layered fruit of considerable length. The tannins are ripe, nutty & present with a proper level of Barolo grip. It draws you in whispering "DRINK ME!". A pleasure to devour in its youth.
