Fred Loimer works together successfully with 25 wine growers from the Kamptal. These growers are professionals who know their region, their varieties and their vineyards like no one else. Good sites and old vineyards (Bio Dynamic) owned by winemakers. From these grapes are wines that let tradition survive, yet have a contemporary interpretation as well. And most of all, they are wines which are fun.
He’s getting funky with skin contact, carbonic maceration (for the Riesling) and fermentation in Quevris, earthen ware jars burried up to their necks, for his Grüner.
