Word has it that there won’t be any 2016 1er Pinot from Hoddles Creek so get this one while you can. Franco manages to build a lot of power into his Pinots whilst still retaining delicacy. The 2015 is no exception, inviting perfume, loads, of earthy goodness and a great core of fruit. Just be patient!

Our 3rd and Best Release is Here! I'm quietly very happy with this one. As a passion project we had no commercial time constraints and were able to give this much more time maturing in barrel and then bottle prior to release, over 5 years prior to release.The end result is a wine of poise and balance. If 2008 felt cool and Atlantic, the 2009 Roda I could be described as Mediterranean, from a warm and healthy vintage. Here they aim for black fruit character while the regular Roda should show red fruit. The grapes are sourced from over 30-year-old vines and is mostly Tempranillo with some 5% Graciano.
