Pinot Noir from Beaune, Côte du Beaune

Domaine des Croix Beaune 1er Cru ‘Les Bressandes’ 2022

“The 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes is pure and ethereal, wafting from the glass with scents of raspberries, rose petals, spices, blood orange and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, ample and suave, with lively acids, melting tannins and a saline finish, it's a lovely rendition of this first-rate hillside terroir.”William Kelley, The Wine Advocate 91-93 Points

Pinot Noir from Beaune, Côte du Beaune

Domaine Antoine Jobard Beaune 1er Cru Les Montrevenots 2023

There is verve and freshness on the palate of the dense, voluminous and punchy flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm tannins shaping the powerful, serious and mildly warm finale. Note that my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that t

Weber noted that they protected the vines with warming pots that allowed for a yield of about 22 hl/ha. More obvious oak influence stops short of fighting with the spicy and earthy purple fruit-scented nose. There is notably more density, power and volume to the bigger-bodied flavors that possess a seductive mouthfeel that contrasts somewhat with the robust but not rustic finale that delivers markedly better depth and persistence. 2029+ Sweet spot Outstanding ♥Allen Meadows, Burghound 91-9
