Domaine Louis Jadot Corton-Grèves Grand Cru 2019

Pinot Noir | Aloxe-Corton, Burgundy

"Abundant menthol and wood nuances are present on the ripe aromas of black raspberry and sauvage scents. The dense, plush and less powerful flavors also exude evident minerality on the austere, focused and balanced finish that isn't quite as complex. Note that this classic Corton is also quite compact and in need of extended cellaring." Allen Meadows, Burghound

"Here too the wood treatment is no longer subtle though it stops short of dominating the pungently earthy humus-inflected mix of red and dark wild berries. There is outstanding volume to the delicious and plump but powerful large-scaled flavors that terminate in a mouthcoating, balanced and built-to-age finale. This possesses excellent development potential though it's not so structured that it couldn't be approached after 7 to 10 years even though it should easily reward 15+." Allen Meadows,

Domaine Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2019

Pinot Noir | Côte-de-Nuits, Burgundy

"Muscular and powerful, the 2019 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (Domaine Louis Jadot) opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, sweet berry fruit, raw cocoa, spices, rose petals and licorice. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with rich structuring tannins and lively acids, this is built for the long haul." William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Maison Louis Jadot Montrachet Grand 2019

Chardonnay | Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy

"Aromas of buttered toast, honeyed peaches, white flowers and mint introduce the 2019 Montrachet Grand Cru (Maison Louis Jadot), a full-bodied, layered and enveloping wine that's satiny and sumptuous, with lively acids and fine depth at the core. While I'd give the nod to the stunning Demoiselles as Jadot's best white wine this year, this Montrachet—purchased from the Chassagne-Montrachet side, from the house's usual source—is undeniably promising."
