Bloody tasty Village. Beautifully weighted and developed. Often at this level Chablis can be thin and raw. Testut here, as with all his wines shows a deft touch in raise the wine and building generosity. A wine that can be hoovered now, it’ll drink well over the next few years. Great flow across your palate, fine, sophisticated, perfect everyday drinking
It ain’t a 1er Cru for nothing. Can these guys do no wrong? Just delicious. The build in depth and acid from the VV is clear. Making for a perfectly step in quality matched to price. Of the 2019 1er’s this is the one that is smack bang in a great drinking zone. The Forêts and Montée need more time respectively, particularly the stunning Montée.

Excellent drinking. Drink this while you wait for the Grenouille to build. Line, length, texture, with a sufficient generosity giving it approachability in youth without adding any of the clumsy bits. Classic, delicious, delicate. Wonderful élévage making for a complete wine.
