Sangiovese from Montalcino, Tuscany
The Le Chiuse 2021 Brunello di Montalcino is a lovely wine and one of my favorites from a vintage that is not always easy to read. It delivers its message clearly with dark fruit, blue flower, grilled herb and sweet cedar, showing a sense of fullness and aromatic completeness that is not always present in this year. Soft and silky on the palate, the wine offers gentle, powdery tannins supported by good underlying structure, achieving balance without force. Sourced as a special selection from eig
Bordeaux Blend from Bolgheri, Tuscany
Ornellaia is undoubtedly the refined lady of the estate. The reviews for the 2019 are full of superlatives. Combined making for complete wines. Why did Stella call it "Rosa?" 1. For the wine's aromas 2. It

One of the hallmarks of great wine is its ability to draw you into the glass, they almost speak out to you ... Drink Me! Drink Me! Gianfranco Soldera's Sangiovese is an incredible wine, you almost don't have to drink it the aroma is that good. Incredible complexity, layering, beautifully refined, perfectly developed, yet youthful. Soldera's wine have a level of precision that you rarely see. I can see why others have picked Grand Cru Burgundy as an option in blind tastings. Incredibly sophistic
