Welcome to the Priorat that time forgot. Made from 75% Grenache and 25% Carignan as it would have a generation ago. Terroir al Límits, Dominik Huber has begun restoring the historic co-op building of Torroja, where it is hoped the wines will be made in the future, bringing together the growers of the region as it did in the past. There’s an elegance yet density about this wine. It’s the Bourgogne level amongst Huber’s Priorat wine sphere. Delicious! Opens beautifully over a day or two. Spice, perfume, there’s a structural component that works beautifully with food.

Why is this Wine so Yummy?

The wines are made at Terroir al Límit; they are naturally fermented in cement; no destemming, no stainless steel, there is no pigeage, no extraction and there is no new oak. With a roster of younger growers who have (with Huber’s advice) invested in organic viticulture, first rate viticulture, the fruit is drawn from all nine villages of Priorat; El Lloar, Porrera, Vilella Baixa, Vilella Alta, Escaladei, Bellmunt, Gratallops, Torroja and Poboleda. One to watch!
