La Ca’ Növa Barbaresco 2022

Nebbiolo | Piedmont, Barbaresco

The 2022 Barbaresco is superb. Deep and layered, the 2022 offers an explosion of red-toned Nebbiolo fruit intermingled with floral and spice overtones. This succulent, generous Barbaresco will be easy to drink and enjoy on release. Like all the 2022s here, the Barbaresco is open-knit and also impeccably balanced. Vineyard sites are Ovello, Cole and Loreto.Antonio Galloni, Vinous 91 Points

The energy is palpable! Le Jardin de la Grosse Pierre is sourced from an old field blend originally planted in 1923 and partly replanted in 1952 that still hosts an unknown number of ancient, partly undefined grape varieties.I've now had the pleasure of devouring several bottles across a couple of vintage. The single best Dardi Le Rose I've seen from Poderi Colla. Serious wine, yet, with a playful side. Excellent tannins, depth and length. A dark note melds into red fruits. Fresh, energetic & layered.  Structured Monforte Tannins with a beautifully weighted presence.Lovely perfume. Earthy, forest floor, with a dash of licorice/tar + so much more going on already! A few years in bottle will see it through the first phase of development and into a very happy place. Plenty of legs on it and

Montée de Tonnerre has a sandy, rocky topsoil, rich in Kimmeridgian limestone. The one-hectare parcel that gifts this wine is situated within the lieu-dit of Chapelot, which is separated from the Grand Cru Blanchot by a narrow ravine. The vines cover two continuous plots: one aged 50 years; and a second parcel recently replanted. This is regularly the most mineral, chalky, deep and powerful 1er Cru Chablis in the range. It is also one of the most limited.“With 12.5% alcohol, Moreau-
