Feeling Thirsty?

NOTE FOR THE 2022: Wonderfully floral, the 2022 Bianco Secco entices with a spicy blend of pine resin and ground ginger, complicating hints of nectarine and dusty florals. This is energetic in style, with a solid core of minerality contrasting a mix of tropical citrus and white pit-fruits. Zesty acidity maintains a lovely freshness as the 2022 finishes crisp and clean, with a sapid, lemony concentration that calls the taster back to the glass. While Vietti's Villero is their Top Wine. This is my favorite! The 2021 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is elegant, floral and lifted. I also find it a bit reticent in the early going. Giovanni Sordo Barolo 'Monvigliero' 2016
The Playful!
Very recognisable again; the graphite and generous almost smoky black cherry/prune announces a Monvigliero. This is both expressive now, yet clearly very classy. Superb, the flint, the slate, the dark sour cherries, such length. Incredible wine. A hint of macerative, grape marc character, again energy, vibrancy. Nice florals. Tannins that almost remind me of a little whole bunch will resolve. Should be a fun evolution for this one. This has a wonderful personality.Very recognisable again; th
