"The 2019 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett is bright, precise and elegant on the complex, refined, beautifully clear and flinty nose. Lush, refined and salty-piquant on the palate, this is a salty, crunchy and stimulating Kabinett with a long and intense finish. Bottled with 9.5% alcohol and 60 grams of residual sugar."
Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advcoate
"The 2019 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is pure and flinty on the pure, elegant, terroir-driven nose. Piquant and crystalline on the palate, this is a crunchy and crispy, well-concentrated and nicely phenolic Schlossberg with juicy fruit but a crystalline and refined finish. Very long and stimulatingly salty."
Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advcoate
This is a beauty, graceful with a certain transparency to it. The freshness, combined with excellent depth and length is classic Kabinett. Like Max F Richter, the use of large old wood for fermentation and maturation harmonises the wine beautifully. A joy to devour!
“Great Mosel Kabinett should be like drinking cool spring water; thirst quenching and delicious.” Johannes Selbach
Selbach aims for a typical Mosel style, which reflects the minerality of the rocky Devonian slate soils, as well as the elegance and finesse of the Riesling fruit in clear, crisp, elegant, low alcohol, yet full‐flavored handcrafted wines. Stephan Reinhardt, The Finest Wines of Germany
"The 2019er Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese * was made from fruit harvested at 100° Oechsle and fermented down to sweet levels of residual sugar (81 g/l). It exhibits some smoky, minty, and ripe scents of pear, quince, almond cream, lavender, pineapple, and smoke on the nose. The wine reveals a more exotic and animating side on the delicate and subtly smooth palate, and leaves one with a feeling of presence and intensity, but all focused and chiseled in the long finish. 2026-2039."

Feinherb is a traditional term that indicates quality and has been permitted on German wine labels since 2000. There is no strict definition, nor is it legally defined, however many growers use it for wines that are off-dry. Feinherb is often used in place of the less popular designation ‘halbtrocken’, as well as for wines that are slightly sweeter than regulations dictate for halbtrockens. Halbtrocken is a German term meaning “half-dry”. It designates wines that have between 5 and 18 g/l of residual sugar depending on the total acidity. The term is considered outdated and is used with declining frequency.
