Seriously! How often to Graacher and Wehlener just come up with the goods. This is a superb Kabinett.  It has that slide flinty, reductive edge, less so than Prüm's Graacher. Huge energy here with a sense of translucence somehow coming through over the divine fruits. Reminds me of Clemens Busch. It has incredible length, with a pinch of salt to finish. 2019 is the first vintage of Langhe Nebbiolo to be produced. It is made from a small part of vines registered as Nebbiolo Langhe in the Vignane MGA (in Barolo, next to Castellero) as well as some declassified fruit from the Barolo parcels. In 2019, the Nebbiolo was fermented on skins for about 10 days before being racked to preserve fruit and freshness. It went through malo in steel and was transferred to a single 1000L Mittelberger botti for aging. This is super fresh and aromatic with Baro

Beautiful poise, delicacy and vertical long shape to the palate. Lovely bright fruit that has shifted beyond primary to aromas and flavours of intrigue. Crisp fine acid. This is an impressive drink. There’s a little passion fruit and gooseberry if you look for it. Overall it’s just a wonderful seemless Sauvignon Blanc.

A little intro to Antoniolo's Nebbiolo wines. Juvenia is from the final two cru sites, Valferana and Borelle. It's unoaked. I couldn't find any details of how it's matured. Suffice to say given the skill with the Riserva level wines it's not surprising that for its standing the Juvenia marries freshness with development beautifully. Well here's a fascinating drink! I've not had a Ruchè AKA Ruchet AKA Rouchet AKA Moscatellina before. I wonder how Rinaldi ended up with this in the mix and the history of the vineyard.The synonym Moscatellina is perhaps the one that first drew my gaze when smelling this. It does have some Muscat like aromas, I almost felt like I was smelling a pretty decent bitters. Galloni is on the mark with his discription. Before trying it myself I though perhaps he was having a Rinaldi Fan Boy moment.
