Fenocchio's Castellero comes from a cooler site east facing site. With similar soils to Cannubi. Darker fruited than Cannubi. This is also slightly reduced and it's enough to render the nose difficult to assess. The medium-bodied flavors are both more powerful and concentrated though at the expense of less refinement and minerality on the driving and impressively persistent finish. This will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my predicted range but the underlying material appears to be present so that this can eventually happen.
