Feeling Thirsty?

"The 2019 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett is bright, precise and elegant on the complex, refined, beautifully clear and flinty nose. Lush, refined and salty-piquant on the palate, this is a salty, crunchy and stimulating Kabinett with a long and intense finish. Bottled with 9.5% alcohol and 60 grams of residual sugar." Philipponnat Clos des Goisses MAGNUM 2013

Pinot Noir | Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Champagne

“Surpassing even the 2012 and 2008, Philipponnat's 2013 Extra-Brut Clos des Goisses looks to be the finest vintage of this cuvée in several decades, at least on first acquaintance. Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes 2020

Pinot Noir | Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy

If I were to name the best Burgundy I’d drunk, Clos de la Roche from Domaine Ponsot would be near the top of the list. A mentholated top note is present on the wonderfully broad-ranging nose of notably ripe cassis, black raspberry, violet, crushed fennel and all but invisible oak hints. There is superb concentration to the big-bodied and intense flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that does a fine job of buffering the exceptionally firm tannins shaping the brilliantly persistent a
Beautifully poised Chardonnay. The all important texture, with a fine, saline acid line is right where it should be. Fresh pithy citrus, excellent herbal note with, perfectly integrated oak. Layers of texture and flavour stack in seamlessly. Crunchy, delicious. Very smart wine!
